Brett Melican

Brett Melican is a director, writer, producer, cinematographer, and editor based in Boston, Massachusetts. Mixing narrative and experimental forms, his work explores fractured relationships and psychological isolation in a blend of genres, with an expressionistic approach to storytelling. He is a member of the AgX Film Collective and helps organize and program local film festivals, such as RPM Fest. As a gaffer, grip, and camera assistant, Brett has worked on a variety of independent and commercial film productions in the Boston area.
